Community Outreach

As a small business within the Las Vegas Valley, we believe that getting involved with our community is a very important thing to do. Without the help of so many, these worthwhile causes would not survive. The following are the organizations that Those in Glass Houses… donates to:

Chefs for Kids, Inc.
Chefs for Kids, Inc. is a nonprofit initiative of the ACF Chefs Las Vegas. The mission of the program is to eliminate malnutrition and hunger through education and awareness. In addition to volunteering their time to the program, the chefs also work to raise funds that help support the program. They do this through their annual “Chefs for Kids Dinner and Auction.”

Adam’s Place
Adam’s Place, a Grief Center for Children and Families is a nonprofit organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. The mission of this program is to be a grieving center for kids, teens, and adults who have lost someone close to them. Whether it is a parent, caregiver, sibling, grandparent, child, relative, or friend, Adam’s Place is here to help those children and families to work through their grief in a healthy, positive way. Beginning in the spring of 2011 there will be an annual dinner and silent auction to raise money for the worthwhile organization.

Nevada Entertainer/Artist Hall of Fame at UNLV
The annual Nevada Entertainer/Artist Hall of Fame held at UNLV each year was founded in order to honor past and present residents of Southern Nevada who have made a significant impact on the arts, including visual and performing arts and architecture. The silent auction is held to raise money to support student programming in the College of Fine Arts.
